Presorted First Class is a United States Post Office term that defines the class of service and postage that is required for a particular mailing. Presorted First Class mail will typically take about 3-4 days for delivery nationwide. .

Every letter that meets the United States Post Office requirements for automated processing (scanned by us and barcode applied by us) receives our special rate of two-cents less than the standard single-piece postage rate. In other words, your one-ounce letter costs you $0.42 versus $0.44. Plus we eliminate the hassle of purchasing and managing stamps (plus denominations) and sealing (licking) envelopes!. Bulk Mail
The term "bulk mail" refers to larger quantities of mail prepared for mailing at reduced postage. The term "bulk mail" means commercial First Class Mail and advertising mail (called "Standard Mail" by the United States Postal Service). Commercial prices are available for other classes of mail, too. The Postal Service uses the terms "bulk" and "presorted" interchangeably.
Bulk prices are lower than "single-piece". "Single-piece" means that you pay the full postage price (i.e., when you put a stamp on a letter, you're paying the single-piece postage). Many mailers pay single-piece postage even though they are doing large mailings. Why? Because they don’t want to do any extra preparation work—they don’t have the time, or it’s just not cost effective for their business. Bulk mail is another way to save money on postage. The most common type of bulk mail is called "Standard Class," which used to be called "3rd Class." Most advertising mail, newsletters, etc. are sent via Standard Class. This class is an inexpensive way to mail a group of identical pieces, if you're not in any particular hurry since Standard Class mail is processed after First Class.
Each mailing at Standard Class prices must have at least 200 pieces. You can personalize them with unique names and addresses, but for the most part, the pieces need to be identical. You cannot send invoices, statements, or other individualized information using Standard Class. Handling your own bulk mailing, requires time, energy; plus the obtaining and maintaining of a bulk mail permit. Direct mail tip: Should postcards be mailers of choice in a sales or marketing campaign, consider that bigger may actually be better! It may afford several more options by selecting a larger card. Postage will be the same whether you mail a small 4½" X 5' or jumbo 6" x 9" full color personalized postcard. That's because, in general, all pieces in the same tray or sack are charged the same price since all of these pieces are handled in the same way and travel the same distance. So, consider the larger size, full color, personalized postcard as it has been proven to pull in higher response rates. Since postage is the most expensive part of a mailing, consider maximizing the piece itself!
Priority Drop Ships
When you need to mail across the country, save money and time with lower postage rates and our priority drop-ship service. It assures that your package ships faster and often, for less money.
A drop ship is when we take a ready-to-mail package, verify it at the local post office, and truck it directly to the local post office in its destination area. This direct route bypasses the local post offices, postal hubs, and distribution centers that your mail would otherwise have to pass through via the regular mail system - which can take up to 10 days or more!
By drop shipping through Moonlight, your mail leaves your local post office and trucks directly to the post office at the final destination - for less postage. And, different from bulk mail, your priority drop shipment is required to enter the local mail stream within 24 hours once received by the local Post Office.
Print Indicia
Print indicia are postal markings imprinted on mail instead of sticking a stamp on each letter. If you have large mailings, consider moonlight services. In order to get an indicia, you would need to go to the post office, open an account, pay a fee, and get a permit number that you include in the "indicia" box you print on your mail pieces.
When you mail through Moonlight, you save time and money by "piggy-backing" on our print indicia at no charge. You pay for bulk mail postage. Since the indicia is not really postage, you can have it printed as part of the printing on your mail piece, just like your return address.
